5 Reasons to Order Your Homecoming Mum or Garter Early

Happy New Year friends, we made it through the first month on 2025! I don't know about you, but it went fast. As we open up orders for 2025, we wanted to give you some tips for early ordering and give you some updates for the 2025 ordering season. Make sure to check out our updated photo gallery.

1. Orders open February 1st of each year due to demand for custom mums & garters, especially SENIORS

We LOVE making custom, detailed mums & garters for our customers and the hardest thing we have to do during HOCO season is to tell a new or returning customer that we do not have a spot. Every year we work on preparing earlier than previous years and 2025 is no different! We again have a record number of rising seniors this year and anticpate filling up on custom senior orders very quickly. Class of 2026 we need your help - if you know you will be ordering a senior mum from us, please order as soon as possible and pass this information on to your friends as well. Don't worry we can make minor adjustments to your order such as adding names and activities for a date or adding a new activity for yourself.

2. Pay for your dream mum over time

February orders only require a 25% deposit with additional 25% payments due the first day of April, June, and August.

March, April and May orders will require a 33% deposit with additional payments due the first day of June, and August.

June and July orders will require a 50% deposit with the remaining 50% balance due August 1st

All orders after July 31, 2025 require full payment at time of order.

As always, you are welcome to pay for your mum or garter in full at time of order.

3. February orders receive the most custom options available - along with a FREE design consultation

Our online store is active with all the available options for designing your dream mum or garter. As we get closer to school starting next year, some options will no longer be available even if we still have spots open for your homecoming week. This will allow us to leave spots open for semi-custom mums as needed during homecoming season. Order early to ensure your must-have options are still available.

February orders receive first priority for senior color custom choices along with an online design consultation where you can choose your imprint ribbon for supreme, ultimate and luxury orders!

4. February orders receive a free PREMIUM braid & acrylic

Order your mum or garter by the last day of February and pay your initial deposit or schedule your senior mum consult by February 28th to receive a free PREMIUM braid and mirrored acrylic.

5. Homecoming mum orders received by July 1st guarantee a spot for a coordinating garter

Want to order your homecoming mum but worried you will need a matching garter for a date closer to homecoming? Many times our clients who order their own mum let their date know they have a spot secured for a matching garter and this helps eveyone not have to worry to find someone who can make a garter close to homecoming.

When you order your mum up to June 30, 2025, we will secure a spot for the same level garter and you can add if needed up to 14 days before homecoming even if we are sold out.
